Grayton Beach State Park nestled in Santa Rosa Beach, FL is home to some of the most beautiful dunes on 30a! This small funky beach town called Grayton Beach surrounded by a network of Point Washington State Park trails is located just about a mile east of the renowned beach community, Seaside. I absolutely love Grayton Beach! There are so many fun things to do, and endless nooks and crannies to be explored whether you are a nature enthusiast, shopper, food-lover (I happen fall into this category), or beach goer, this area has something “Grayt” (wink, wink) to offer for all!
Nights like these at Grayton Beach remind me of why I absolutely love to live here. The light was so golden and warm, and the beach is less crowded this time of year giving it an empty organic-feel which allows us to have first-dibs on some of the best spots! You guys, it is seriously the perfect time of year for a family beach session! And, with my fall gallery turnaround, you will receive your images in time to send out your family Christmas cards. (:

WaterColor boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and scenic views on 30a! This little town is located just about a mile west of the beach community, Seaside known for the Rep Theater and home to the location of the iconic house in the film, The Truman Show. This area is perfect for taking a stroll on foot or by bike and grabbing food & drinks at one of the many popular Airstream food trucks.
This evening was pure bliss! The sunset was absolutely stunning! Grayton Beach State Park was just close enough – giving the beach an organic empty feel. Fall is in the air! It’s the perfect time of year for family sessions for your Christmas cards!
The Byrd family was such a delight to meet and photograph! This sweet family of three made me so happy! Precious baby girl didn’t want to leave mama’s arms, and that was no problem at all. Just another excuse to cuddle and snuggle during the session. I loved the natural colors they chose to wear as well!
One of the fashion tips I like to encourage clients with before their photography sessions is to pick something that is light, comfortable, flowy, with soft neutral colors, and having aflower pattern is always a plus! I also invest in a yearly subscription to a customizable guide that helps clients pick out outfits that coordinate with the whole family!

The weather in PCB this evening was amazing with a cool, gentle breeze. The ocean tide conditions were calm and still, and the sunset was radiantly stunning! Maternity sessions make me so happy to photograph!
It was such a privilege to have photographed Emily and Kyle. The love they have for one another is something so incredibly special – their smiles truly tell it all! They are going to be the best parents! What I admire about them is their genuine kindness and laughter. And, her dress was so gorgeous! I LOVE the flower patterns!

Located east of scenic 30a, Panama City Beach has an old Florida beach town vibe! What used to be a popular spring-break party town has calmed down over the years, and now caters towards families, couples, and snow-birds. A must see during a stay in Panama City Beach is Pier Park! If you like to shop, eat, play and repeat then this is the place to go! It is home to many popular stores such as World Market.

Sunrises are my absolute favorite because the kids can be free and run around without having beach go-ers interrupt the shot! It was a beautiful morning in Rosemary Beach for the Dewitt family session! The weather was warm, and the ocean was so still it looked like a lake! The Dewitts were ready to just play with their kids and have fun!
Rosemary Beach is the perfect place for a family shoot – or really any type of photo shoot! The Italian inspired architecture that surrounds the community fulfills any traveler’s dreams! It’s like having a little slice of Italy in the backyard of 30a.
I am so thankful to have had the privilege to photograph this gorgeous family. My heart melts when I see the love that they have for one another, and I am blessed to be able to capture it. One of my favorite things about the Dewitt family is how fun and carefree they are! They were truly a joy to work with! While it can be challenging at times to wake up at the crack of dawn, the girls did such an amazing job, and they ended up having a blast!
